Ortenberg Kalesi, Ortenau'nun ana simgesidir ve Offenburg ile Gengenbach arasındaki Kinzig Vadisi'nin sonunda, Ortenberg kasabasının yukarısında yer alır.
Ortenau Kalesi'nin kökenleri 11./12. yüzyıla kadar götürülebilir. Kale, Kinzig Vadisi'ni korumak için Zähringen Evi tarafından yaptırılmıştır.
Günümüzde kalede bir gençlik yurdu bulunmaktadır.
