Tōdai-ji (Japonca: 東大寺, okunuşu: Tōdai-ji, Türkçesi: Büyük Doğu Tapınağı), Japonya’nın Nara şehrinde yer alan bir Budist tapınağı.
Tōdai-ji dünyanın en büyük ahşap yapısı olmasının yanı sıra dünyanın en büyük Buda heykeli olan ve Japoncada Daibutsu (大仏) denen heykeli de bünyesinde barındırmaktadır.
Tapınak aynı zamanda, bir Budist okulu olan, Kegon’un da ana merkezidir.
Naka şehrindeki yedi tarihi tapınak ve mekana ek olarak Tōdai-ji de Monuments historiques de l'ancienne Nara adıyla UNESCO’nun Dünya Mirası listesindedir.
