Baltimore City Hall, situated on a city block bound by Lexington Street, Gilford Avenue, Fayette Street and War Memorial Plaza, was constructed between 1867-1875 and officially dedicated on October 25, 1875. It is the official seat of government of the City of Baltimore, housing the offices of the Mayor, City Council, and City Comptroller.
