Grebenshchikov Boris, Rus rock müziğinin kurucularından biri olarak adlandırılıyor. O bir şarkıcı, müzisyen, efsanevi «Akvaryum» grubunun kurucusudur. Viktor Tsoi'nin ilk albümünü üreten Grebenshchikov'du.
Boris Borisovich 27 Kasım 1953'te doğdu. Aile Leningrad'da yaşıyordu. Babası mühendis, annesi avukattı. Çocuk okulda derinlemesine matematik okudu. Müziğe düşkündü, gitarda ustalaştı, şarkılar besteledi.
1981'den beri Grebenshchikov filmlerde oynuyor ("İhale Çağı", "Susuzluk", vb.). Ayrıca performanslara katılmaya davet edilir. Boris Borisovich, Hindu ve Budist tezlerinden birkaç kitap ve çevirinin yazarıdır.
