D. H. Lawrence, 20. yüzyılın en çarpıcı ve tartışmalı yazarlarından biridir. Hem özel hayatıyla hem de eserleriyle dönemine damgasını vurmuş, edebiyat dünyasında derin izler bırakmış, edebiyata tutku, cinsellik ve insanın iç dünyası üzerine derinlemesine bir bakış açısı getirmiştir.
