Federal Republic of Central America(República Federal de Centroamérica in Spanish) covers the Central American republics of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Established in 1921, it came as the realization of a decades-long wish to re-establish the defunct political entity of the same name that existed between 1823-1838. Panama was invited to join the Federal Republic.

Orta Amerika Federal Cumhuriyeti (İspanyolca: República Federal de Centro América), başlangıçta Orta Amerika Birleşik Eyaletleri (İspanyolca: Provincias Unidas del Centro de América) olarak bilinen, 1823'ten 1839/1841'e kadar Orta Amerika'da varlığını sürdüren egemen bir devletti.
Orta Amerika Federal Cumhuriyeti beş eyaletten oluşuyordu: Kosta Rika, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras ve Nikaragua, ayrıca 1835'ten 1839'a kadar bir Federal Bölge vardı. Guatemala şehri, 1834'e kadar federal cumhuriyetin başkentiydi ve o yıl federal hükûmetin merkezi San Salvador'a taşındı.
Sonunda Orta Amerika'nın eyaletleri bağımsızlıklarını ilân ederek federal cumhuriyeti sona erdirdi.
