The Fort Marcy Officer’s Residence is one of two remaining officer’s homes of six constructed in the1870s by the US Army as part of the seventeen-acre Fort Marcy Military Reservation. The other existing officer’s residence is the Otero-Bergere House at 135 Grant Avenue (see Otero-Bergere House).
