The Guoqing Temple is a Buddhist sanctuary on Mount Tiantai, in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Initially inherent 598 amid the Sui Dynasty, and revamped amid the rule of the Qing Yongzheng Emperor, the sanctuary is found around 220 kilometers from the city of Hangzhou. It was the underlying site for the making of the Tiantai school of Mahayana Buddhism, established by Zhiyi.
