Jean le Rond d'Alembert (16 Kasım 1717 — 29 Ekim 1783), bir Fransız matematikçi, mekanikçi, fizikçi ve filozoftur.
Aynı zamanda Denis Diderot ile birlikte Encyclopédie'nin yardımcı editörlüğünü yapmıştır. D'Alembert'in dalga denklemleri için geliştirdiği metot ondan sonra kendi ismiyle adlandırılmıştır.
