John Mighton, OC born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on October 2, 1957, is a Canadian mathematician, playwright and best-selling author, who is known for his work supporting children's math. Mighton founded JUMP Math as a charity in 2002 and developed the JUMP Math program to address student underachievement in math.

John Milton (Londra, 9 Aralık 1608 — Londra, 18 Kasım 1674) İngiliz yazar, şair, filozof, denemeci, devlet adamı ve ilahiyatçıydı.
Shakespeare sonrası dönemin en ünlü, saygın ve etkili İngiliz yazarlarından biri olarak kabul edilir. Onun başyapıtı, 1667'de şimdi kör ve yoksulluk içindeyken 10 ciltlik ilk baskısında yayınlanan epik şiir Paradise Lost'tur.
