Yeşilbaş (Anas platyrhynchos), Ördekgiller familyasından bir yüzücü ördek türüdür.
Yeşilbaş ördek 56–65 cm boyunda olup, kanat açıklığı 81–98 cm ve ağırlığı 908-1589 gramdır.
Erkeğinin üreme döneminde, parlak yeşil bir başı, siyah kuyruğu ve altında siyah çizgi olan sarı bir gagası vardır. Dişisi açık kahverengidir ve koyu kahverengi gagası vardır.
Üreme döneminin dışında erkeği dişisine benzer, ama hala sarı gagasından ve kızıl kahverengi gerdanından onu ayırt etmek mümkündür.
Evcilleştirlmiş yeşilbaşlar, doğadakini andıran, beyazla karışık bir tüy örtüsüne sahip olur.
