The Monument to the Liberator Soldier is located in the famous Treptow Park in the eastern part of Berlin. The monument was founded and built in 1949 and is dedicated to the Soviet soldiers who died during the storming of Berlin. It is the largest anti-fascist monument in Western Europe.
