The Nagoya City Art Museum is located right in the heart of the city, often with major exhibitions, and within walking distance of a number of other attractions and public transportation. Two wonderful exhibitions from 2011 were "Tomatsu shomei : photographs" and "Rembrandt : The Quest for Chiaroscuro".
