Sir Peter Paul Rubens (/ˈruːbənz/; Dutch: [ˈrybəns]; 28 June 1577 – 30 May 1640) was a Flemish Baroque painter. A proponent of an extravagant Baroque style that emphasized movement, colour, and sensuality, Rubens is well known for his Counter-Reformation altarpieces, portraits, landscapes, and history paintings of mythological and allegorical subjects.

Peter Paul Rubens (28 Haziran 1577, Siegen — 30 Mayıs 1640, Anvers), Hollanda Altın Çağı sırasında yaşamış, Güney Hollanda'daki Brabant Dükalığı'ndan (modern zamanda Belçika) bir Flaman sanatçı ve diplomattı.
Flaman Barok geleneğinin en etkili sanatçısı olarak kabul edilir. Rubens'in çok yüklü kompozisyonları klasik ve Hristiyan tarihinin bilgili yönlerine gönderme yapar.
Rubens mitolojik ve sembolik konuların sunaklarını, portrelerini, manzaralarını ve tarihi resimlerini yapan bir ressamdı. Aynı zamanda Flaman duvar halısı (goblen) atölyeleri için üretken bir taslak resim tasarımcısıydı ve Anvers'teki yayıncılar için ön parçaları yaptı.
