The Peak District (also called The Peak) is a picturesque upland area of the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions of England. There are no precise boundaries; the term comprises most rural areas and small towns which lie between (and are within easy reach of) Sheffield, Huddersfield, Leeds, Manchester, Stockport, Buxton, Congleton, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, and Chesterfield.

Cheshire, sos olarak ya da çerezlerin yanında kullanımı olan bir peynir türüdür.
İngiltere bölgesinde üretimine başlanan ve dağılan bir yapıya sahip bir türdür. İnek sütüyle yapılan ve pastörize yapılarak üretilen bu peynir, gündelik hayatta tüketilebilir.
Bu peynir türü beyaz renkli olmakla beraber yağ oranı diğerlerine göre daha düşüktür. Soğanla beraber tüketilmesi de sağlıklı bir öğün oluşmasına katkı sağlar.
Bu tür peynirler sade ve doğal şekilde de tüketilmektedir. Özellikle sabah kahvaltısında kızartılmış bir ekmek üzerine sürülerek kullanılabilir. Tereyağı olarak da bazı durumlarda tercih edilmeleri mümkündür.
