Pitirim Alexandrovich Sorokin (21 Ocak, 1889 — 11 Şubat, 1968) Rus asıllı Amerikalı sosyolog.
Toplumsal çevrim kuramına katkısı en fazla bilinen sosyologdur ve bütüncül yaklaşımı benimsemiştir.
Sosyoloji teorisinde iki tür sosyolkültürel sistem tanımlaması yaparak algılanan (ampirik, doğa bilimlerine dayanan ve ona dayalı) sistem ve tasavvur edilen (mistik, akla karşıt, otorite ve inanaca dayalı) sistem kavramlarını geliştirdi.
