René Samuel Cassin (5 Ekim 1887 — 20 Şubat 1976) Fransız mahkemesi jüri üyesi ve hukuk adamıdır.
1968 yılında insan haklarını savunmadaki katkılarından dolayı Nobel Barış Ödülü'ne layık görülmüştür.
Fransa'nın güneyindeki Bayonne'da doğan Cassin, bir hukukçu olmuş, ama kendini I. Dünya Savaşı'nda savaşırken bulmuştur. Savaştan sonra Aix-en-Provence Üniversitesi'nde profesörlük yapmaya başlamıştır. Daha sonra Lille'e taşınmış (Université Lille Nord de France), Paris Üniversitesi'nde çalışmaya başlamıştır.
