Rochester Cathedral is the second oldest cathedral in England, and was founded in 604AD. The land was donated by King Ethelbert in 604AD with the cathedral being founded by Bishop Justus. The building dates back to the French monk, Gundult in 1080, with Norman architecture of the nave, parts of the crypt as well as Romanesque facades.
