One of Dhaka’s most beautiful mosques, Star Mosque or Tara Masjid was built in the first half of the 19th century by Mirza Golam Pir. The mosque is located at Armanitola in old Dhaka. It has beautiful designs and is adorned with motifs of blue stars. Being from old Dhaka I visited Tara Masjid many times.
