The United States Hockey Hall of Fame was dedicated in 1973 as the “National Shrine of American Hockey, ” honoring the legends of the game and preserving the precious memories of ice hockey in the country. In May 2007, USA Hockey took over the induction process and changed the organization’s name to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum.
