Victorine Meurent 18 Şubat 1844’te Paris, Fransa’da doğmuş Fransız bir ressam ve modeldi.
Victorine 1860 yılında Thomas Couture’ün atölyesinde modellik yapmaya başladı. İki yıl sonra, ünlü ressam Edouard Manet onu sokakta gitar çalarken keşfettikten sonra onun için modellik yapmaya başladı. Manet’nin kızıl saçlarını parlak bir şekilde tasvir ettiği eserlerinin tekrarlayan bir konusu haline geldi.
Academie Julian’da ve Etienne Leroy’un yanında sanat dersleri aldı. 1876’da Victorine’in otoportresi kabul edildi ve Paris Salon’da sergilendi. Ayrıca Academie des Beaux-Arts’ta da çalışmalarını sergiledi.
