This cathedral is also known as the Voskresensky Cathedral. It is located on Komsomol'skaya Street to the right of Gagarin Park. This is not one of the larger cathedrals in town but is quaint and has beautifully manicured gardens and flower beds on the grounds. We visited after reading a story that a priest had been shot here in 2014 whilst protecting worshipers.
