Ernie Joseph - Confusion 1970. Ernie and the Emperors, 1965 - present, were from Santa Barbara, California. They were an example of 60's rock & pop heavily influenced by the British Invasion. Their biggest hit was "Meet Me At The Corner", a no.1. Their unique sound as well as their energetic stage presence earned them a reputation of being one of California's best examples of a garage rock band.
