Uluslararası Müzeler Günü, her yıl 18 Mayıs'ta müzelerin toplumdaki işlevi ve önemi konusunda farkındalık yaratmak amacıyla kutlanmakta olan uluslararası bir günüdür.
Uluslararası Müzeler Günü'nde her yıl farklı bir ana temaya odaklanılır ve dünya müzelerinde Uluslararası Müzeler Konseyi tarafından koordine edilen etkinlikler gerçekleştirilir.
Etkinlikler tek günde, tek hafta sonunda veya bir hafta süresince gerçekleştirilebilir.
2021'de 158 ülkede yaklaşık 37bin müze Uluslararası Müzeler Günü kutlamalarına katılmıştır.
