Joe Smith Jr. (born September 20, 1989) is an American professional boxer. He held the WBO light heavyweight title from 2021 to 2022. In 2016, Smith became the first boxer to score a stoppage victory over former undisputed middleweight world champion Bernard Hopkins, who retired after their fight.
