John Bardeen (23 Mayıs 1908 — 30 Ocak 1991) Amerikalı bir fizikçi.
Nobel Fizik Ödülü'nü iki kez alan tek kişidir: ilk olarak 1956'da transistörün icadı için William Shockley ve Walter Brattain ile; ve yine 1972'de Leon Lenon N.Cooper ve John Robert Schrieffer ile BCS teorisi olarak bilinen geleneksel süperiletkenliğin temel teorisi için çalışmalar yürütmüştür.
1991 yılında ABD'nin Boston şehrinde kalp krizinden öldü.
