Mary Marvel is superheroine in the DC Comics Universe and a member of the Marvel Family, a group of heroes associated with Captain Marvel. She is the alter ego of Mary Batson, is older twin sister of Billy Batson, Captain Marvel's alter-ego. Like her brother, Mary is granted the power of the wizard Shazam and has to speak the wizard's name to transform into Mary Marvel.
