  • The Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions of the Autonomous University of Madrid was inaugurated in 1975 on the Cantoblanco campus with a donation of more than 2,500 pieces made by Guadalupe González-Hontoria and Allendesalazar. In 2011, the Museum moved to the corrala on Carlos Arniches Street, in the heart of Madrid, sharing its headquarters with the La Corrala Cultural Center, thus creating an interesting fusion between urban and rural popular tradition.
