Osborne 1 dünyanın ilk ticari ve başarılı taşınabilir bilgisayarıdır.
Geliştirilmesini Adam Osborne tasarımını ise Lee Felsenstein yapmıştır. 3 Nisan 1981'de tanıtılmıştır. Tanıtıldıktan sonra büyük ilgi görmüş, yaklaşık 11000 adet satmış ve firmasına yaklaşık 20 milyon Dolar gelir getirmiştir.
Osborne 1'in kutusundan hem kendi işletim sistemini hem de kendisi için üretilmiş bazı ofis yazılımlarını açıklayan yaklaşık 500 sayfalık bir kullanım kılavuzu da çıkmatadır.
