Genel bilgiler
Saint Anthony the Abbot Kilisesi olarak da bilinen Our Lady of Victory Kilisesi Malta'nın Valletta şehrinde tamamlanan ilk kilise ve binaydı.
1566'da, Malta'nın Büyük Kuşatması'nın ardından, Büyük Üstat Jean Parisot de Valette ve yönetimi bir şükran gösterisi olarak Meryem Ana'nın Doğuşu adına bir kilise inşa etmek istedi. Bu inşaat De Valette tarafından finanse edildi.
Kilise, St John ve Malta Şövalyeleri'nin 8 Eylül 1565'te Osmanlı işgalcilerine karşı kazandığı zaferi anmak için inşa edilmiştir.
