Located in Moscow's historic Fort Russell neighborhood, the McConnell Mansion (at 110 South Adams Street) is an architectural and historic landmark. William J. McConnell, leading merchant, prominent Republican, and Idaho Governor from 1887 to 1893, built the house in 1886. On the main floor of the house are historic rooms interpreted in different time periods from 1900 to the 1930s.
