Kristiansand, Norveç'in coğrafik Sorlandet (Güney Norveç) bölgesinde Vest-Agder ilinde bir şehir, bir belediye ve il başkentidir.
Kristiansand 5 Aralık 1643'te yeni bir şehir olarak Danimaraka Kralı olan İV. Christian tarafından kuruldu. Şehrin merkezinin adı birbirine dik olarak kurulan sokaklardan oluştuğu için «Kvadratüren» olarak anılmaktadır.
Norveç Krallığı veliahtı olan Prenses Mette-Marit bu şehirde doğmuş ve bu şehirde bulunan bir okula devam etmiştir.
