Murabba Palace (aka Qasr Al Murabba) was built by the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The palace and its surroundings were founded in the form of a miniature city containing several buildings. The King made it his family residence in 1939 until his death in 1953.
