1. The Museum was founded in 1944 by the Rosario Department of Fine Arts, ” then led by the illustrious sculptor Juan B. Castagnino. 2. The museum is housed in an Italian style palace from the 19th century, the Salón de la Industria. 3. The museum features works from the contemporary Argentine scene, as well as performances and courses related to art history and visual arts.
