Chojnik is a rock castle located in the Kłodzko Valley, in south-western Poland. It was built in the thirteenth century as a stronghold of the Polish Piast dynasty. In the fourteenth century, the castle was expanded and became the seat of castellans. In 1489, the castle was inherited by Kunegunda, wife of Władysław II Jagiełło, king of Polish.
