Ya da Malvina Adaları Güney Atlas Okyanusu'nda Patagonya'nın 480 km doğusunda bulunan takımadalar. Yaklaşık 12.000 km²'lik yüz ölçümüne sahip olan takımada Doğu Falkland, Batı Falkland ve 776 küçük adadan meydana gelir. Britanya Denizaşırı Toprakları'ndan biri olan Falkland Adaları içişlerinde serbest, dışişlerinde ve savunmada ise Birleşik Krallık'a bağlıdır. Adalar'ın başkenti Doğu Falkland'daki Stanley'dir. Birleşik Krallık, Arjantin'in adalar üzerindeki taleplerine rağmen 1833'te egemenliğini ilan etmiştir.

Falkland Islands, internally self-governing overseas territory of the United Kingdom in the South Atlantic Ocean. It lies about 300 miles (480 km) northeast of the southern tip of South America and a similar distance east of the Strait of Magellan. The capital and major town is Stanley, on East Falkland; there are also several scattered small settlements as well as a Royal Air Force base that is located at Mount Pleasant, some 35 miles (56 km) southwest of Stanley.
