Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald (24 Eylül 1896; St. Paul, Minnesota — 21 Aralık 1940, Hollywood) İrlanda asıllı Amerikalı romancı, deneme yazarı, senarist ve kısa öykü yazarı.
Kendisinin popüler hale getirdiği Caz Çağı'nın ihtişamını ve aşırılığını anlatan romanlarıyla tanındı.
Hayatı boyunca dört roman, dört kısa öykü derlemesi ve çeşitli dergilerde yayımlanan 164 kısa öykü yazdı.
1920'lerde ilk romanı ile sağladığı popülarite ve geçici bir servet elde etmesine rağmen, Fitzgerald asıl ününü ölümünden sonra kazandı.
Yirminci yüzyılın en büyük Amerikan yazarlarından biri olarak kabul edilir ve 1890'larda doğup, I. Dünya Savaşı sırasında yetişen neslini «Kayıp Kuşak» olarak tanımlar.
