- MLdonkey is written in Objective-Caml , a powerful language that runs on most Operating Systems.
- HTTP/FTP MLdonkey core runs as a background daemon and provides several control interfaces : telnet, web, and binary protocol for third party GUIs.
- I would recommend running it in a folder such as $HOME/.mldonkey. It is usually a good idea to run MLDonkey as a restricted user, probably called mldonkey.
