İtalya'nın başkenti Roma'da bulunan bir meydandır. Modern İtalyancada tam anlamıyla "Halk Meydanı" anlamına gelir fakat tarihsel olarak Latince'de kavak anlamına gelen populus kelimesinden türetilmiştir. Daha sonra, adını Piazza'nın kuzeydoğu köşesindeki Santa Maria del Popolo kilisesinden almıştır.
