Amerikalı folk müzik şarkıcısı besteci ve sivil aktivist. 1919’da Manhattan’da doğan Seeger, müziği kadar aktivizmiyle de Amerikan tarihinde yeri doldurulamaz bir konumdaydı. 1950’lerdeki Cadı Avı sırasında hükûmet tarafından kara listeye alınan müzisyen, üniversite konserlerine çıkarak dinleyicilerine ulaşmıştı.
