Gustave Charpentier (25 Haziran 1860, Dieuze, Moselle, Fransa - 19 Şubat 1956, Paris), Fransız bestecidir.
Müzik kariyerinin zirvesine şaheseri sayılan Louise adlı opera eseri ile erişmiştir. Bunu takip eden Jülien adlı opera eseri o kadar başarılı olmadı ve Opera-Comique Tiyatrosunda ancak 20 temsili yapıldı. Louise operası ise hala birçok dünya opera-evinin repretuvarında bulunmakta ve zaman zaman sahnelenmektedir.
Sosyal sorunlara önem veren 1902'de Charpentier, Alfred Bruneau ile birlikte, Paris'te işçi sınıfından çalışan genç kızlara parasız artıstık eğitim sağlamak amacı ile «Conservatoire Popülaire Mimi Pinson» adlı bir eğitim merkezi açtı.
