The Saint Petersburg Metro consists of five lines that have different colour codes: Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya (red), Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya (blue), Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya (green), Pravoberezhnaya (orange) and Frunzensko-Primorskaya (violet), which tightly go through the historical city centre and join in with the outskirts. There are 67 metro stations with total lines length of 113,52 km.
