  • One of the main landmarks of the city of Budapest is the St. Stephen basilica that is located on the square with the same name (Szent Istvan - St. Stephen square). Built between 1851 and 1905 is a magnificent Cathedral in the city center - pity we were visiting on the Sunday and the service was in progress so we could only visit the main tower and the museum at the upper level.
