Final Fantasy IV[a] is a Nintendo DS role-playing video game and a remake of the 1991 SNES game, Final Fantasy IV, also known as Final Fantasy II in North America for the SNES. It was released as part of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary celebrations on December 20, 2007 in Japan, on July 22, 2008 in North America, and on September 5 in Europe.
