  • Independence Hall is a United States national landmark located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The building was completed in 1753 as the Pennsylvania State House for then Province of Pennsylvania. In 1775, it became the principal meeting place of the Second Continental Congress until 1783. It is known primarily as the location of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence.
