Counter-Strike 2 (abbreviated CS2) is an upcoming online first-person shooter developed by Valve Corporation. It is the fifth official game in the main Counter-Strike series and the eigth game in all, being the successor to Global Offensive. The game is currently in a "Limited Test" for Microsoft Windows after being announced to the public on March 22, 2023, with a release date set for Summer 2023.
