Built between 1800 and 1812 under the patronage of Prince Edward Duke of Kent, and then seeing major modifications through the 1820's and early 1900's before being carefully restored after a catastrophic fire in 1994, Saint George's Round Church remains the oldest round church in North America and an excellent example of Palladian architecture.
