James Beck Gordon (born 14 July, 1945) is an American musician and sonwriter. His professional career began in 1963, when he started performing as a drummer. In 1969 – 1970 he played music in the backing band for Delaney & Bonnie, which later formed a new band – Derek and the Dominos.
