State Buryat Academic Drama Theatre. Hotsa Namsaraev was established by the decision of the Board of the People's Commissariat for Education of the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR dated July 03, 1932. The basis of the troupe was fifteen graduates of the College of Arts. The opening of the theater took place on July 7, 1932 with the play "Breakthrough" by N. Baldano.
