Final Fantasy III[a] is a Nintendo DS role-playing video game and a remake of the 1990 Family Computer game, Final Fantasy III. The game was developed by Matrix Software and marks the first time the game was released outside of Japan since its original launch. A port was released for iOS on March 24, 2011.
